This app is everything one would expect. The interface is intuitive, the options are plentiful, and its overall real world application is vast. Undoubtedly earns all 5 stars.
I did some research on converters and landed on this one. It appeared to be the all in one type converter I was looking for. The interface looks pretty slick, the information presented sounded great, etc. On the Iphone the text is very small and hard to read. You also must turn the device back and forth to see the numbers/conversions. I understand the programmer did this to maximize space but it is annoying when actually using the application to convert. It also appears pretty dim on my machine even though the brightness is turned up. The first thing I tried to convert was temperature. FAILED! It does not work properly!!! I really would like my money back. If you are looking for a converter, please look around before purchasing this one. I wrote directly to the app developer with no reply in just over two weeks time.. Disappointed customer.
I paid $0.99 for this app and that is about $0.99 too much. Bought this app because it looked very usefull with the multiple available conversions. However, I used it to convert 25 dec C to Farenheit and the app is telling me that 25 dec C is 845 deg F...dont think that is correct! There is a some multiplier being used in the calculation and I cant find any explaination about the purpose of the multiplier or any way to change the multiplier value. Checked the support site and all it has is an email address. I really should have checked the customer ratings before buying this app!
The basic structure is great, but the selection is really limited. You system should allow you to select any unit in the "From" list and convert to any other unit in the "To" list, but the selections are too limited. My first try was in wanting to convert "mL" to "fl. oz.", but the only option is "mL" to "L". If, however, I select "L", then the option to convert to "fl. oz" is available. Also, there needs to be greater depth of options for conversion, like meters to angstroms. I hope your future versions will fix these limitations. If it does, then it will become a four or five star rating.
Was looking for a currency converter. Tried the free version and it seemed to be an ok app. Bought the pro- version and was truly disappointed as the choice of currency selection did not increase. No different than the free version. Is this a scam? How do I get a refund????
